Pizza on the Patio!!!

Well, once again we are having the perfect weather! (Wait until June, July & August....) I was in charge of dinner and FHE tonight, so I decided to make pizza and eat on the patio before our lesson on the resurrection. I've been experimenting with pizza dough and sauce. Tonight I made a black olive & herb dough ( I show 2 dough balls below, but I made 4. I put two in the fridge for tomorrow) and I made a tomato/alfredo combo sauce with a dash of basil pesto and sun dried tomato pesto. The dough had excellent flavor, everyone liked it. I need to tweek in the cooking time. The sauce was good, not perfect. I told the kids we were going to have pizza every Monday for the next month while I work on getting the perfect dough and sauce combo worked out. I'm getting close... Anyway, below are some pic's.

Okay, here's where it all begins.... with the dough. This is my world famous black olive and herb dough (it also makes great bread and rolls...) 

Black olives, shrooms, onions, red peper, peperoni, 6 kinds of cheeeeeeeeezzz. Only the finest of increadients! 

Wow!!! Can't wait to dig into these! 

Here we are enjoying our pizza and each other! It was such a pleasant evening! The pizza was pretty good too, even if I do say so myself! Wish all you northerners could have been here! 

We finished up at twilight with some of Debby's world famous chocolate chip pecan cookies! Now it's off to FHE.

Fun with the Schenewark,s

We had a great time on Monday with the Schenewark's! We played basketball, hide and seek, watched videos, played game cube and air hockey. We played on the swings and in the back yard too. While the kids were doing all this, Len and Jerod were cutting out pine wood derby cars on the scroll saw and added some much needed memory to Jerod's computer. Meanwhile, Debby was making cookies and Amy Jo was giving piano lessons! It was a busy afternoon to say the least! Here are some pictures.
