End of Summer

While it is only August 16th AND it's still 98 degrees out today, the kids have all started back up in school. Below are some first day of school pic's.

We had a special treat a couple weeks ago. Melanie came home for a short visit (and long shopping trip...) We had a great time with her here!

You might be asking, "what weapon of mass destruction (wmd) might this be?" It's not a wmd at all. It's Melanie's hair dryer! We had a blast with her home for a few days!

How much would you pay for two pair of Dr. Martin's shoes? Melanie and I found the green pair at Goodwill for $9.99. When I brought them to the counter, the lady pointed to the blue pair (part of a display, not with the shoes). I grabbed them too. Then I saw that they wanted $49.99 for the blue ones. I told her I did not want them if they were $49.99. She gave me both pair for $9.99 each!!!
